The X Factor 2012 To Feature Tributes to Michael Jackson And Amy Winehouse?

More rumours surrounding The X Factor 2012 have began to circulate wit the latest suggesting that show producers want contestants on the upcoming series to duet with icons such as Amy Winehouse, Michael Jackson and Elvis Presley in the final.
Talking about the use of computer generated images a source told The Sun, "The X Factor has to keep getting better so they are looking at holograms as a way of creating a splash."
"Imagine Elvis or Amy Winehouse at the grand final. It would be incredible TV and an amazing experience for contestants. The technology's there and has been used on several big stages.”
The use of holograms is becoming increasingly popular at live events. Earlier this year a hologram of rapper Tupac Shakur famously appeared with Snoop Dogg and Dr Dre at Coachella 2012 and virtual Michael Jackson was rumoured to be in the works for the Jackson 5 comeback tour this summer.
The X Factor series nine is due to start on Saturday 18th August on ITV 1. This year’s show features Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh, Tulisa Contostavlos and new UK Judge Nicole Scherzinger.
