Maroon 5
Maroon 5 are an American band from Los Angeles, California.
The band consists of lead vocalist Adam Levine, keyboardist Jesse Carmichael, bass guitarist Mickey Madden, lead guitarist James Valentine and drummer Ryan Dusick.
The guys (minus Valentine) formed a band Kara's Flowers whilst in high school releasing an album back in 1997. After a short break and addition of lead guitarist James Valentine the boys reformed under new name Maroon 5 releasing debut album ‘Songs About Jane’ responsible for hits including ‘This Love’ and ‘Sunday Morning’. With over 10 years of chart success the band had huge success back in 2011 with hit single ‘Moves Like Jagger’ featuring Adam Levine’s fellow ‘The Voice’ judge Christina Aguilera.
Maroon 5 are currently working on their new album set for release later this year.
