All male dance group BalletBoyz present an exhilarating programme of contemporary dance
Meet Adam, Anthony, Ed, Leon, Luke, Matt, Miguel and Taylor.
These eight spectacular dancers were hand picked by BalletBoyz from open auditions to star in a new mixed programme of explosive dance. The Talent is made of three powerful and dynamic works – Paul Roberts’ Alpha, the BalletBoyz signature Torsion by Russell Maliphant and Jarek Cemerek’s fast paced Void.
This all male group work beautifully together. Fearless and powerful in their movement, they maximise the strengths of this diverse group of dancers to magnificent effect. Without doubt the highlight of this programme is Torsion, where the beauty of the BalletBoyz original duet seems multiplied by being reworked for six dancers.
BalletBoyz are currently on the final legs of their national tour. If you haven't managed to catch them this time don't worry, I hear they are already working on their next tour. Keep posted for more details.
