Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th May 2016

The annual celebration of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender life in the UK city is back for its 20th anniversary in 2016!

The event, which generates a £15 million ($23 million €18 million) economic impact for the city and attracts over 50,000 people across the two days, will feature over 100 artists and DJs. The Birmingham Gay Pride event, which launches with a Carnival Parade through the city on 28th May, also features a dance tent, cabaret marquee, funfair and Community Village Green, in addition to a host of community stalls and refreshments.

Location

The Birmingham Pride weekend takes place in the Gay Village on Hurst Street.

Parade Route

Launched from Victoria Square in Birmingham's city centre at 12 noon on Saturday 28th May 2016, the Carnival Parade route will be our best and most visible procession through the city ever! This year it will wind its way down New Street, into High Street, Carrs Lane, Smallbrook Queensway and Hurst Street, before finally entering the main Pride Festival site.
